Why did Goodwill raise prices?
2016 was a record year for us, training more than 10,300 people and placing 3,200 people in jobs. Our retail business supports our job training and job placement programs and the demand for these crucial services has continued to grow. However, we realized our retail store prices went a little too high and our customers let us know.
Will Goodwill be decreasing the number of training programs now and the people Goodwill helps?
We hope that by lowering prices, customers will want to shop even more allowing us to fund additional programs.
Has Goodwill lowered all prices?
We’ve lowered apparel and book prices and we’re bringing bargains back throughout the store. We also added the .99 tag sale and will continue to have monthly specials.
Why did Goodwill decide to lower prices?
We hope those customers that have stopped shopping at Goodwill will come back…and they will once again find the great bargains and treasurers we have always been known for.
