Halloween DIY: Frames

Supplies:

Textured Frame

Skeleton

Black String

String Lights (optional)

Spray Paint (bought at craft store)

Step 1:

Find a textured frame and a spooky figure, like this skeleton!

Step 2:

Spray paint the frame black and use a string to hang the skeleton from the frame.
Use tape or glue to make sure your skeleton stays in place.

BONUS:

Add lights around the frame to add more SPOOK!

Supplies:

Hinged Frame

Stick on Letters

Spray Paint (bought at craft store)

Step 1:

Find a hinged frame or 3 frames you can tie together using ribbon or string.

Hunt for some craft letters that would work well to spell out trick or treat OR use some paint to write the words on the frame.

Buy stone textured or black spray paint.

Step 2:

Take the glass/backing out of the frame and paint the frame.

While frame is drying place stickers or draw on the glass.

Make your frame say trick or treat, or get creative and make different halloween-themed sayings!

Place your glass back in the painted frames.

BONUS:

Add creepy-crawlies to the frames to add a little more fright.

Supplies:

Textured Stand-Up Frame

Crafting Paper

Spray Paint (bought at craft store)

Step 1:

Find a textured frame at Goodwill that will look extra scary spray painted black.

Choose some paper that will work great as a background. We found black and white scrap-booking paper at Goodwill!

Step 2:

Take the glass/backing out of the frame and spray paint the frame black.

Cut the paper down to the frame size.

Print out or draw “Please Take 1” sign and glue/tape onto paper.

Place paper in frame and voila!

Supplies:

Large Frame

Spider Webbing

Spray Paint (bought at craft store)

Step 1:

Find a large frame that will be perfect for a spider home. Grab some fake spider web in the Halloween section.

Buy some black spray paint.

Step 2:

Take the glass and backing off of the frame and spray paint the frame black.

Wrap the webbing around the edge of the frame and place the spiders in it.

BONUS: If you can find larger spiders it can be a family of spiders crawling in the frame!
